"Customers have wanted to see Rohde & Schwarz EMC analyzers connected to AVL EMC's test automation system for years," said AVL's electronic motor test manager Alban Gemery. “Together, we finally made it and are excited to offer this solution that improves checking the electromagnetic compatibility of electronic storage devices."
Its purpose is to support electromagnetic emissions and stability testing during driving simulations, including road conditions defined by automotive standards.
“Tests need to be as realistic as possible, so there is a trend away from static EMC testing of vehicles to dynamic testing where the transmission is active, speed and torque are changed during the EMC test.
