Called PSC, &# 8220; the series includes five models with power from 75 to 480 W. All models have a universal input voltage range of 85 to 264 VAC and output voltages of 12, 24 and 48 VDC and are backed by a three-year warranty,” according to the distributor Omni Pro Electronics, which stocks parts.

Output voltage accuracy is ±1%, Omni Pro says, and the power supplies can support a 150% peak load for 3s. 1+1 to N+1 operation is also supported for additional current.

The efficiency can reach 94%, the power factor is actively controlled to over 0.95.

Protections include current limiting, output overvoltage, output overload, output short circuit and open circuit.

'DC Power' and 'Self Test' LEDs provide visual status indication and there is also a 'DC OK' relay contact.

Operation is rated from -25 to +70°C with caveats to derating at higher temperatures - see specification - for example the 75W PSC-75 versions can provide full power down to 60°C. This last number is in the usual DIN rail orientation and, unusually, Altech provides charts for operation in other orientations, which also include a second curve (A2 in the PSC-75 example left), if half the expected service life is acceptable (25°C at full load MIL-HDBK-217F MTBF >300,000 hours)

For additional reliability, printed circuit boards have a conformal coating, and all consumables are tested for burnout at full load.< /p>

They are UL508, UL60950-1 and EN62368-1 certified and operate to EN55032 Class B, EN61000-3-2, Class A and EN61000-4-2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 11 EMC standards.

- the distributor is located in Addison, Texas.
