The University of Nottingham is funding UK firms tackling the environmental impact of space

Three companies that help deal with the effects of space debris or minimize the impact of space operations on the environment. These are: Holscot Fluropolymers, which specializes in the use of fluoropolymers, Space Resource Lab, which specializes in propulsion systems for nanosatellites, and XCAM, which deals with CCD- and CMOS-based imaging systems.

Aerospace UP is a £20 million program run by the University of Nottingham and the Midlands Aerospace Alliance (MAA), supported by the European Regional Development Fund and Midlands Engine. It appears to support the aerospace supply chain in the Midlands
