“Safety certifications include 2MOPP/250V AC for medical applications 'B' or 'BF' according to IEC/EN/ANSI/AAMI ES 60601-1 as well as IEC/EN 62368-1, IEC/EN 60335-1 and IEC/EN 61558-1 for industrial use, test and measurement, IT and domestic use, all up to an altitude of 4000 m,” was said, adding: "EN 55032/35 'Class B' emission limits for electromagnetic compatibility are achieved by a good margin."
Called the RACM130E-K, the series operates from 85 to 264 VAC and comes in 12, 15, 24, 36, or 48 VDC versions. Power output is 130 watts peak or continuous with airflow "from this tiny AC/DC size while maintaining comprehensive safety certification," said the company's product manager, Michael Srutka.
The efficiency is around 90 %, maintained at lower loads for ErP compliance, and the no-load loss is less than 200mW at 230V AC.
