“Maintaining error-free accuracy for long-distance transmissions, 4 – 20mA current does not degrade over long connections and is less sensitive to background electrical noise,” according to the company. “The 4-20 mA output position sensors are easy to connect and configure provide compatibility with most PLCs [Programmable Logic Controllers] and controllers. The devices also require fewer wires and connections than other signals.”
The devices have radially or axially installed connectors (see image), and devices are available in the range from 2.5 mm to 500 mm.
In addition to IP-68 sealing, the windings are internally filled with two-component epoxy resin for resistance to harsh environmental conditions.
